04:00 — Your driver picks you up and takes you by 4WD jeep to the sunrise viewpoint. Important: it can be cold before dawn; jackets can usually be rented on the way.
05:00 — Watch sunrise from the viewpoint overlooking Mount Bromo
07:00 — After sunrise, descend toward the base of the volcano
08:00 — Explore Mount Bromo and climb to the crater rim for a close view of the active crater.
10:00 — Return to the hotel for breakfast.
12:00 — Depart for Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. Bring swimwear and comfortable footwear that can get wet.
13:00 — Meet the local guide and continue toward the waterfall by motorbike; there will be time for photographs at the site.
15:00 — Have lunch at a local warung after the waterfall visit.
15:30 — Depart for the next hotel, with a stop in Lumajang, an area affected by ash from the 2021 volcanic eruption.
20:00 — Arrive at the hotel, have dinner and rest before the next day's adventure.
